Assamese traditional jewelry is unique for its hand-made gold plating over silver frames, adorned with precious rubies, emeralds, and enamel work. Designs like the 'Jonbiri' (crescent moon pendant) and 'Gamkharu' (broad bangles) are inspired by local flora and fauna.
Our master metal-smiths follow the age-old 'Kesa Son' technique, gold-plating the silver base with pure gold leaf. The rich cultural symbolism embedded in these designs makes them the perfect accompaniment to the golden Muga and white Pat silk garments.
